The Israeli government has expressed its satisfaction with the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s postponement of a visit to Latin America until further notice.
Israel operated through diplomatic channels in order to express its disappointment with the planned visit, due to the anti-Semitic position of the Iranian president.
Memorandums were dispatched from Jerusalem to South American countries that intended to host the visit with whom Israel has a friendly relationship.
Israeli government sources added the Israel aims to isolate Iran, with the goal of causing it to discontinue the development of its nuclear program and to cease its support of international terror.
